What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer (CMM Programmer/Operator) will be responsible for programming our CMM to inspect and verify component manufacture conformance.

  • Programming and operating our CMM
  • Inspecting parts against drawings and specifications.
  • Following inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical and functional inspections on a wide variety of components.
  • Preparing for and conducting the first article inspection of parts.
  • Maintaining necessary inspection logs and writing inspection reports.
  • Interpreting inspection findings and determining adequacy of corrective actions.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience (4+ years) in a high‑precision CNC machining environment (3 and 5‑axis)
  • Minimum 2 years in a Quality roles within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience programming and operating a CMM (preferably familiar with PC-DMIS software)
  • Strong drawing interpretation and metrology skills
  • Competent in conducting First Article Inspections
  • Energetic, collaborative mindset with a flair for precision and problem-solving
