What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting production and engineering teams by optimising manufacturing processes
- Analysing CNC machining processes, identifying improvements and reducing bottlenecks
- Ensuring part quality, supporting scheduling and improving workflow efficiency
- Troubleshooting production issues, reducing scrap and improving repeatability
- Bridging the gap between engineering and production
- Monitoring and reporting on the machine efficiency and downtime
- Supporting a lean, efficient production environment and collaborating in 5S
- Coordinating with purchasing and stores to ensure material availability
This is a hands-on, cross-functional role working closely with operations, planning, and the machine shop floor to enhance productivity.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, process improvement and quality assurance within a manufacturing environment (3+ years)
- Strong technical drawing interpretation
- Understanding of machining principles, tooling and process flow
- Energetic, collaborative mindset with a flair for precision and problem-solving
