Our Story

Like many great engineering ventures, NI Precision began with a challenge. As part of a family group of companies with a manufacturing legacy here in Northern Ireland dating back to 1969, we faced a problem: our sister company, Cherry Pipes, needed high-quality mould tools and the external suppliers weren’t meeting our standards. So, taking matters into our own hands, we began designing and investing in our own R&D, and building what would become an in-house precision engineering capability.

With our tool room fully operational, we recognised an opportunity. In December 2018, we opened our doors to other businesses seeking the same world-class CNC machining tools, our decades of manufacturing experience and the integrity and attention to detail we’ve always afforded to our own engineering projects.

Today, NI Precision partners with clients across advanced engineering, aerospace, defence, medical and space sectors helping them overcome the very same manufacturing challenges we once faced ourselves.
